1. Application for the consent of the Registrar General (RG) of CAC and reservation of proposed name(s). The application is made online but requires the proposed name of company, objects and names and details of the promoters. It costs N5000 payable through the remita platform.
2. Publication of notice of application for registration of the association in 2 daily newspapers one of which must circulate in the locality of the association and the other a national newspaper. The notice of application shall state the following:
   • The name of the association
   • The principal objects of the associationv
   • The full names of the proposed trustees
   • Invitation of objections to the name, objects, or persons stated as trustees of the association within 28 days of the publication.
3. Upon the passage of 28 days after the publication, the application for registration will be filed with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) by uploading the following documents on the CAC CRP:
   • name-signatures of the proposed trustees
   • Valid means of identification of the proposed trustees
   • Extracts of minutes of general meeting appointing trustees and adopting Special Clause in the constitution and stating the list of members present and the voting pattern, signed by the chairman and secretary
   • Trustees declaration forms duly deposed to by each trustee in the High Court or before a Notary Public.
   • Original pages of the newspaper publication.
4. Payment of filing fee
5. Confirm registration status from your CRP dashboard or via email from CAC.
6. Download certificate of incorporation and other documents from the CRP

For the purpose of completing the application form online, the following are required of each of the proposed trustees (a minimum of two and maximum of 10 trustees):

6. A copy of means of identification
